This role offers the opportunity to lead a multidisciplinary team in providing top-notch neurorehabilitation services.
Join a team that truly cares, with a competitive salary ranging from £47,000 to £55,000 (pro rata for 28 hours a week) depending on experience. The organsiation specialises in helping individuals with brain injuries regain their skills and achieve personal goals. With a focus on neurorehabilitation, their assessment centres, rehabilitation units, and hospitals provide expert care to those affected by trauma, illness, or substance abuse. As a Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist, you will:
Lead and provide professional guidance to a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team.
Work autonomously to assess and address communication impacts on daily life.
Collaborate with patients and their social networks to overcome communication barriers.
Develop management plans and rehabilitation strategies, seeking specialist assessments when needed.
Deliver training to staff and service users' social networks.
Play a key role in service and organisational development.Package and Benefits:
The Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist role offers:
Annual salary between £47,810 and £54,710, dependent on experience, pro rata.
38 days of annual leave, inclusive of bank holidays, pro rata.

The ideal candidate for the Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist role will have:
A degree in Speech and Language Therapy and registration with the HCPC.
Achieved Dysphagia Competencies.
Specialist knowledge of SaLT models and interventions in acquired brain injury.
Ability to manage complex dysphagia within an adult neurology caseload.
At least 4 years of qualified experience, including complex case management.If you have experience or interest in roles such as Speech Therapist, Language Pathologist, Communication Specialist, Rehabilitation Therapist, or Neurorehabilitation Specialist, this opportunity as a Senior Specialist Speech & Language Therapist could be perfect for you.
