9 Month fixed term contract (Maternity cover) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our dynamic Medical Infusions team within the Specialist Medicine Directorate. You will work as part of a specialist team of nurses to provide safe, effective and compassionate care for patients attending the Grosvenor Infusion Suite for a wide range of non-chemotherapy systemic therapies. These include biologic infusions, IV antibiotics, iron therapies, electrolyte replacement, IVIG and ambulatory Covid antiviral treatments. This is an excellent role for a motivated Band 5 nurse seeking to develop advanced clinical skills in a supportive, patient-focused outpatient environment. Full competency-based training will be provided. Maternity Cover (Maternity leave cover may end sooner if post holder wishes to return earlier) We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed Band 5 Staff Nurse to join the Grosvenor Infusion Unit at St George’s Hospital. As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will: Deliver a high standard of evidence-based nursing care to patients attending for infusion therapies Assess, plan and evaluate care under the guidance of senior nursing staff Safely administer IV infusions in accordance with Trust policies Support patients and families with clear communication, education and reassurance Contribute to quality improvement, audit and a positive safety culture Work flexibly across the unit to ensure smooth patient flow and safe service delivery We are seeking someone who is patient-centred, organised, able to work both autonomously and as part of a cohesive team, and committed to delivering excellent clinical care.
