General Maintenance Technician – City Facilities Management Holdings LtdLocation: Benton, Gosforth, Cramlington – 45 hours per week, salary £32,421.43 with overtime, 33 days holiday and a comprehensive benefits package including private health care, life insurance, employee discounts and a private pension.Key ResponsibilitiesPlan and execute preventive maintenance (PPM) and reactive jobs on time and within agreed service level agreements.Adhere to Health and Safety and compliance guidelines, clearly communicating all work undertaken and building strong relationships with both the Asda team and City wider team.Utilise the Mercury platform to review and update jobs, ensuring accurate data is recorded for each task performed.Respond promptly to service call requests, assessing requirements and carrying out necessary repairs.Order spare parts as required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance repairs.Primary TasksExecute general repairs and maintenance across ASDA sites, including building fabric, car park surfaces and pipework.Carry out cleaning of air filters on HVAC equipment.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with specified procedures.Identify non‑repairable issues and advise line manager with recommendations for suitable alternatives.Develop positive relationships with City and ASDA colleagues and undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Regional Operations Manager.Qualifications & ExperienceFull driving licence.GCSE or equivalent education.Proficient PC/iPad literacy – Apple and Android.Experience in general building repairs (e.g., plumbing, joinery, small civil works).Ability to maintain and repair a range of building fabrics, equipment and ground works to recognised standards.Desirable: Building trade qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds) and civil works experience.Candidate ProfileCapable of working with minimum supervision in a customer‑facing environment with a professional, can‑do attitude.Organised and self‑managed, determining material requirements to complete all tasks.Experience working at pace and supporting all business needs when required.Proactively looking to improve standards on each site assigned. #J-18808-Ljbffr
