Butler Rose is recruiting a Head of Finance position for a Global Manufacturing business based in Ilminster. My client is looking for a strategic, hands‑on Head of Finance to lead the financial direction of the manufacturing site. You'll partner with the site leadership team to drive performance, ensure compliance, and support profitable growth. What you'll do Own financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for the site. Act as a key business partner, providing insight to guide major decisions. Ensure robust controls, compliance, and accurate financial accounting. Support business cases, investment decisions, and customer proposals. Oversee costing, variance analysis, and financial efficiency in manufacturing. Manage tax, audit, and currency risk for the site. To be considered you will Be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent). Have strong finance leadership experience in manufacturing. Be commercially minded with excellent business partnering skills. Have proven ability to deliver results, challenge assumptions, and drive performance.
