OverviewSenior Staff Nurse - Imaging role at The Lister Hospital, London. Full time: 37.5 hours per week. Shift times: Monday – Friday (Flexibility required to cover 8am – 8.00pm) plus on call. Permanent contract. Rotation to Chelsea Outpatients Centre; 272/280 Kings Road and Chiswick Medical Centre, W4 4HS. Location: The Lister Hospital, Chelsea, London. Overseeing imaging modalities with rotation across Interventional Radiology, CT, Ultrasound, Breast Imaging, MRI and Core Services.ResponsibilitiesProvide a professional standard of excellence in nursing services for all patients.Be competent in Imaging Nursing, including assisting with one stop breast clinics, imaging guided drainages and biopsies, Interventional Radiology cases and therapeutic procedures.Share clinical knowledge with multi-disciplinary colleagues formally (CPD sessions/clinical competency forms) and informally (ad hoc teaching/training).Participate in mandatory training relating to Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Children, ensuring escalation of safeguarding concerns.Assist bookings clerks and Radiographers in the booking of immediate appointments.Form effective working relationships with Consultants, medical, Radiographic and administrative staff within the Department and hospital.Notes: You will need to be flexible to travel to other sites within The Lister campus and surroundings as required.What You’ll Bring / QualificationsHold a BSc (or equivalent) in Nursing and hold a current UK NMC registration meeting PREP requirement.Experience in Imaging/IR is essentialDemonstrate commitment to Imaging nursing through CPD/protocol development within a radiology area.Have a portfolio of relevant CPDPost Graduate qualification within imaging or another relevant areaPrevious experience in working with paediatrics is an advantageWhy HCA UK / BenefitsOriginally founded over 50 years ago by Dr Thomas Frist, HCA has become one of the world’s leading healthcare providers.
