About the Role:

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers, therapists and support staff to deliver personalised, high-quality support to pupils with a wide range of needs. Your duties will include:

• Providing one-to-one and small-group support based on EHCP outcomes

• Assisting with communication strategies, sensory regulation and positive behaviour support

• Creating an inclusive, engaging and safe learning environment

• Supporting pupils with personal care where required

• Implementing structured interventions and maintaining clear, accurate records

• Collaborating with the wider team to ensure holistic and consistent support

• Participating in swimming sessions as part of pupils’ developmental programmes

About You:

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in supporting pupils with SEND (ASD, MLD, SLD, PMLD or complex needs)

• Calm, patient and adaptable, with a proactive mindset

• Passionate about fostering independence and wellbeing

• An excellent communicator who works effectively as part of a team

• Willing to engage in ongoing training and professional development
