We are looking for dedicated, nurturing and resilient Residential Support Workers to join our team in a warm, stable and child-centred home.About the RoleAs a Residential Support Worker, you will play a key role in providing emotional, social and practical support to children and young people aged 5- 18 who may present with challenging behaviours or have experienced trauma. You\'ll be part of a committed team working to create a safe, supportive and structured environment where every child can grow and thrive.What You\'ll Be DoingProviding daily care, guidance and positive role-modellingSupporting children with routines, education, personal development and life skillsBuilding strong, trusting relationships with young peopleManaging challenging behaviours in a calm, consistent and therapeutic wayEnsuring the home remains a safe, nurturing and welcoming environmentKeeping clear records and following safeguarding proceduresWorking collaboratively with colleagues, social workers and external professionalsWhat We\'re Looking ForExperience working with children or young people (residential, SEN, youth work, education or similar)A compassionate, patient and resilient approachAbility to stay calm under pressure and manage challenging situationsStrong communication skills and a genuine passion for helping young peopleFlexibilityDesirable (but not essential)NVQ Level 3 in Children and Young People or equivalentTeam Teach / MAPA / PBM trainingFull UK driving licenceIf you\'re ready to join a team that puts children at the heart of everything, we\'d love to hear from you.Timeplan Education are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and expect all staff to show this commitment.
