4 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Highland Trauma Unit, Ward 3A We are a 30‑bedded unit looking to recruit Band 5 Registered Nurses to join our busy, hard‑working and friendly team. Candidates should be enthusiastic, flexible and motivated, with an interest in caring for patients with orthopaedic injuries and excellent organisational and time‑management skills. Orthopaedic experience is not required. The nursing team works 12½‑hour shifts, including both day and night. We care for a wide range of trauma injuries – hip fractures, long bone fractures, spinal injuries, soft‑tissue injuries, infections and other orthopaedic injuries. We also admit step‑down patients from Major Trauma Centres and care for many patients with dementia, supported by a Dementia Champion Nurse.
