Duties include *Ensure Pre-Purchase order authorisations are in place. *Place Purchase Orders onto Suppliers to ensure timely deliveries. *Progress Order Confirmations to ensure work has commenced in line with contractual requirements *Progress order items to ensure that the schedule will be adhered to. *Progress Query Resolution to ensure that items are not "held up". *Obtain detailed proposals from Suppliers to ensure "value for money" is obtained. *Maintain an effective administration to ensure records are kept of discussions / meetings and contract obligations are recorded. *Support supplier reviews to enable improved performance. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, be fully conversant in using Microsoft office and have experience using ERP / MRP system. CIP's qualification would be desirable.
