The post will give you the opportunity to build on your existing clinical skills in all areas of the General Imaging Department including A&E across a range of specialties and developing new skills in CT and Angio. Education and training are key elements of the department. Key Responsibilities Carry out radiographic examinations across a range of modalities to the agreed standard of the department. Maintain a high standard of patient care and comfort; be patient focused at all times. Work in an efficient and effective manner at all times. Appear on duty promptly and appropriately dressed and behave in a professional manner at all times. Plan, prioritise and organise own workload within certain clinical areas of the department, e.g. Fluoroscopy, with support from senior colleagues as required. Vet request forms for validity and appropriateness. Determine whether repeat X-rays or extra projections are required. Undertake IV injections in line with departmental policy. About the Role We are looking for enthusiastic, motivated radiographers who enjoy the challenges a Major Trauma Centre (MTC) will offer within a friendly multidisciplinary team in a central London location.
