Our breakthrough technology delivers PCR test results in under 10 minutes, right at the point of care. It’s science that moves fast, so doctors and patients don’t have to wait. As a Quality Technician, you’ll be on the shop floor making sure our moulded plastic components and consumable medical products meet gold-standard quality requirements, from the moment materials arrive to the moment products are boxed and ready to ship. You’ll work closely with production, engineering, and quality teams, using your metrology and inspection skills to maintain product integrity, patient safety, and compliance with ISO 13485 standards. Responsibilities Carrying out hands-on inspections on incoming moulded plastic parts and finished consumables Using metrology equipment and hand tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.) to verify critical dimensions Supporting timely product releases with accurate inspection records and documentation Conducting in-process and final checks on products to ensure compliance with specifications Preparing approved products for dispatch, ensuring they are safe and compliant Identifying and escalating quality concerns early, preventing defects from reaching customers Maintaining inspection readiness by keeping records accurate and up to date Contributing to improvements in inspection methods, tooling, and documentation Requirements Hands-on experience with metrology and measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges) Experience inspecting moulded plastic parts and consumable products Experience working in a regulated environment (ISO 13485 or cGMP a plus) Comfortable working in cleanroom environments and carrying out quality inspections A proactive mindset – confident speaking up when something looks off Ability to adapt quickly to new processes and inspection techniques Familiarity with stock control and quality documentation Confidence using QMS tools and systems Benefits Employer pension contribution of 10% (+3% personal contribution) Private Medical Insurance Life insurance 25 days’ annual holiday plus bank holidays Discounts and memberships to local sports facilities and the theatre Apply now and become a part of something genuinely meaningful. #J-18808-Ljbffr
