General Practitioner - HMP Leeds We have an exciting opportunity for a General Practitioner to join our healthcare team at HMP Leeds, a category B men’s prison based in Leeds, Yorkshire. HMP Leeds is a remand prison with a fast‑paced healthcare department that provides care 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Within this role you will be working on evening receptions supporting the intake of new patients, requiring support with same‑day medications, acute needs and substance misuse withdrawal plans. Hours Monday and Tuesday 5pm-9pm This position is part time, you’ll receive an annual salary up to £129,500 per annum FTE – depending on experience. How will we support you? What you'll be doing Deliver first class healthcare to a diverse group of patients, and therefore as a General Practitioner at Practice Plus Group you get the opportunity to further develop your knowledge in areas you wouldn’t usually experience within a practice, or even A&E environment. Provide clinical assessment and diagnosis to patient’s requirements and make timely decisions regarding future management. Provide a highly specialist resource to other members of the healthcare team at site, as well as the patients you work with having active involvement in clinical governance and effectiveness activities.
