Position Overview A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen to join our fantastic culinary team as our Pastry Commis Chef. You will be working closely with our talented chefs giving you the opportunity to learn and gain valuable experience. Assisting the pastry chef in creating desserts, petits-fours, and breads in our well-equipped pastry kitchen. Preparing and baking pastries, desserts, cakes, cookies, sweets, and pies according to recipes and quality standards. Ensuring that the pastry and bakery areas are clean and well maintained and following the cleaning checklists. Responsibilities Assisting the pastry chef in creating desserts, petits-fours, and breads in the pastry kitchen. Maintaining cleanliness of pastry and bakery areas and following cleaning checklists. Delivering outstanding levels of guest service with a genuine passion, creative flair, and attention to detail. Qualifications We are looking for someone with a genuine passion and a creative flair and an eye for detail and an understanding of what it takes to provide outstanding levels of guest service.
