Working pattern: Mondays & Wednesdays 09:30‑14:30, Tuesdays & Thursdays 14:00‑20:00, Fridays 09:30‑13:00. About the Role We are currently seeking a Catering Assistant to join our Catering & Hospitality department. You will support students through food preparation, service, facility maintenance, stock control, and customer engagement. Responsibilities Assist with food preparation, cooking, and serving meals and beverages with courtesy. Maintain kitchen and dining areas; wash crockery, utensils, and perform deep cleaning tasks. Help with stock checks, deliveries, storage, and financial transaction compliance. Provide a welcoming environment, resolve complaints, and support promotion days and events. Uphold safeguarding, EDI, health & safety, and provide cover during staff shortages. Qualifications & Experience Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate. Experience in customer care, food preparation, and cooking. IT skills (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work in fast‑paced environment, multitask, follow instructions, perform frequent lifting.
