This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious accounting professional looking to develop their skills and contribute to the success of a well-established company.Reporting to an experienced Financial Controller, the successful candidate will assist with the preparation of financial reports, take ownership of day-to-day accounting tasks, and support the wider finance function.Key Responsibilities of the Assistant Management Accountant position will include:Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.Support month-end close processes, including journal postings, accruals, and prepayments, ensuring accuracy and adherence to deadlines.Perform regular bank reconciliations, ensuring that all transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.Support the budgeting and forecasting process, providing analysis and insights to aid financial planning.Key Requirements:Part-qualified and working towards a professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA).Proven experience within a previous accounting role.Experience of month end close process.Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems.Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills.Benefits of the Assistant Management Accountant position include:Study support and professional development opportunities.Hybrid working options (office and remote work).Company pension scheme and additional benefits.Opportunity to work within a leading organisation with a dynamic and supportive team.If you’re an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant looking to further your career within a successful business, we encourage you to apply.
