The successful candidate will be leading a small, longstanding team that plays a key role in delivering high standards and maintaining strong relationships with clients.Benefits & PerksCompetitive salary and performance bonusesHealth and wellness programmesGenerous holiday allowance of 32 days (including Bank Holidays) and additional Christmas ShutdownOpportunities for professional developmentSupportive and dynamic work environmentResponsibilitiesAs a Production Manager, you will oversee:Operations & ProductionOversee production, bottling, colourant, packing, and dispatch areas.Manage production schedules, batch sheets, and stock levels.Ensure efficient order processing and timely dispatch.Stock & Supply ChainControl raw material and finished goods inventory.Set and maintain reorder levels; conduct annual stock checks.Work with ERP systems (e.g.Sage 50) for BOM, stock, and purchase orders.Negotiate with suppliers and couriers for pricing and service.Quality & ComplianceMaintain quality standards for raw materials and finished goods.Ensure compliance with Health & Safety and environmental legislation.Manage waste and recycling processes.Maintenance & PremisesOversee repairs, servicing, and maintenance of equipment and building.Ensure premises are safe, secure, and operational.HR & Staff ManagementManage attendance, holidays, and sickness.Conduct staff appraisals and wage reviews.Support mental health awareness and disciplinary processes.Administration & ReportingMaintain production and bottling records.Prepare budgets and forecasts for raw materials.Monitor and adjust minimum order quantities.Additional DutiesFire safety management (drills, equipment checks).Forklift compliance (LOLER checks, servicing).Customer collaboration for product specifications.Cross-department communication with Accounts, Marketing, Sales, and MD.Essential (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)Proven experience in a manufacturing environmentStrong leadership and team management skillsKnowledge of health and safety regulationsFamiliarity with ERP systems, ideally Sage 50Excellent organisational and multitasking abilitiesDesirable (Knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience)Background in supply chain managementFamiliarity with quality assurance processesAbility to negotiate with suppliers and couriersHow to applyIf you are passionate about leading a team to success and ensuring top-notch production quality, please apply online or send your CV to taunton@office-angels.com.
