Private capital markets need a comprehensive software solution to replace outdated spreadsheets and fragmented service providers. Carta’s software for the Office of the Fund CFO does just that — it’s a new category of software to make private markets look more like public markets — a connected ERP for private capital. Responsibilities Support new clients in onboarding them onto Carta Europe – i.e., implementation of client’s capitalization table and securities on Carta Manage complex datasets with high integrity Migrate client data to Carta Europe’s import file in Excel Coordinate and manage inputs needed from client stakeholders, including law firms Maintain the quality of clients’ data throughout the onboarding process Train clients on how to use Carta Europe Software Continuously look for ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the onboarding process Proactively manage your clients to dates, activating their account on time and improving your time to value month over month Give your clients resources to appropriate teams post‑activation Work closely with product, engineering and our internal implementations leaders to improve the onboarding experience for our customers Have the opportunities to work on potentially cross‑functional side projects in addition to your core function onboarding new accounts, learning to deliver new services Impact & Qualifications Working knowledge of Excel and Google Sheets Strong project management skills – must be able to manage multiple projects (25+) at a time, while providing timely follow‑up to clients Data‑savvy and enjoy working with large datasets Familiar or interested in private equity, VC‑backed companies and capitalization Flexible, adaptive, and resilient Excellent people skills and a high degree of empathy Strong communication skills Highly organized and can manage a group of C‑suite clients Can work cross‑functionally with teams Can deal with uncertainties and ambiguous situations Can maintain confidentiality as required by customers Ambitious, proactive, a self‑starter, helpful and resourceful Professional attitude and can exhibit diplomacy, tact, and poise under pressure when working through customer issues Knowledge of finance and accounting is a plus Experience working at a high‑growth software company is a plus Experience in customer‑facing roles is a plus Location and Work Authorization The role is located in either Rio de Janeiro or London.
