Structural BIM TechnicianApply to join the Structural BIM Technician role at AKT II in London. The position offers training in 3D BIM technology (Revit) and design processes to support complex projects worldwide.ResponsibilitiesPrepare general BIM drawings using Revit/AutoCAD in accordance with company procedures.Update and maintain the 3D BIM model.Create engineering drawings and submissions.Assist the team to adhere to the BIM Execution Plan and workflow criteria.Schedule and maintain the drawing program to meet client timelines.Collaborate and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve design changes and model challenges.Comply with IMS, CDM regulations and relevant safety and environment legislation.Produce project documentation and manage drawing control and filing systems.Upload and retrieve drawings using client intranet and common data environment sites.Provide day‑to‑day support for the wider engineering team.Required SkillsSound knowledge of concrete and steel building structures, and experience in other structural materials.Proficiency in BIM software; Revit highly desirable.Commitment to continued education and improvement through on‑the‑job learning.Experience with interoperability between applications.Attention to detail and methodical planning and organization of project parts.Analytical skills and teamwork ability.Qualifications and ExperiencePreferred STEM subject qualifications.Good degree or HND/HNC in Construction & Built Environment.Experience and flexibility to rise to challenging situations and take appropriate responsibility.Opportunity to assume greater responsibility and autonomy over time as professional skills develop.BenefitsWork for an innovative, design‑led studio based in Manchester with projects across the UK, Europe and internationally.
