SEN Teacher – Wembley Full-time, Long-term (part-time considered) We’re working with a brilliant secondary site in Wembley seeking an experienced SEN Teacher to join their upper school team. You’ll be teaching small groups of students who need a little extra support to thrive — guiding them through Study Support sessions, Entry Level Science, and key interventions that build confidence in English, Maths, and Science. This is more than just classroom teaching — it’s about unlocking learning for every student. You’ll plan and deliver lessons, collaborate with the SEN team and subject teachers, and work closely with families to ensure each learner feels seen, supported, and successful. You’ll also play a key part in creating an accessible, inclusive curriculum — sometimes joining lessons to help SEN students engage fully and flourish. What we’re looking for: ✅ Experience teaching or supporting secondary SEN students ✅ Confidence leading small groups and designing intervention sessions ✅ A collaborative, adaptable teacher who thrives in a team All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role. Please see the FAQs on the Protocol Education website for further details. All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date. Protocol Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children. We undertake safeguarding checks on all workers in accordance with the DfE statutory guidance ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education’, this may also include an online search as part of our due diligence on shortlisted applicants. We offer FREE online safeguarding and Prevent Duty training to all our workers. All candidates must undertake or have undertaken a valid enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check and subscribe to the DBS Update Service. Full assistance provided.
