**Personal Assistant Aberfan 5 hours per week **I am a happy and chatty 16 year old boy with learning difficulties and epilepsy.I live in Aberfan and I am looking for a Personal Assistant to spend 5 hours per week with me to help me socialise and go out and about in the community, I love the outdoors and have a passion for motorbikes, trains and anything petrol, I also like football. I am very chatty and sociable. When Im out and about I will need to carry my medication for epilepsy and it would be good for someone working with me to have knowledge/experience in dealing with this condition.******Likes:*** Trains, motorbikes and engines* Football and swimming* Walking and being outdoors* Tea and Toast at the café**Tasks and Duties*** To access the local community and surrounding areas.* Car driver* Promote my independence.* Carry epilepsy medication provided by my mother**Working Hours/Rate of pay****£14.00 and £0.40** pence per mile for any mileage**5 hours** per week 52 weeks of the yearCan be worked flexibleType of person required* Someone who is enthusiastic and fun to be around.* Someone who has previous experience of working with young people with additional needs and knowledge of epilepsy.* Full UK Driving licence Essential* Reliability is essential* Someone who will encourage independenceTraining is accessible if required for the job role**Additional Information**Successful applicants will be subject to a three month trial periodA DBS check will be required, this will be at no cost to yourselfPlease note that this advert has been placed on behalf of one of Service Users.
