About the RoleWelcome to the dynamic world of BYD We are seeking a Business Planning Specialist within our vehicle operations team to be a vital part of our growing BYD family. As a member of the passenger car division, you will play a key role in expanding our presence in the UK, providing retailer partners with industry-leading service levels and customer excellence. The position is office-based in Uxbridge in West London and reports to the business planning department team leader within the vehicle operations team. With the recent launch of our new vehicles, we anticipate growth in 2025 and beyond. As a Business Specialist at BYD, you will help shape the future of sustainable transportation and be part of an exciting journey ahead.Be part of the fast-growing automotive brand in the worldMain Tasks and ResponsibilitiesResponsible for maintaining vehicle data within our inventory management system, ensuring accurate and regular updates.Execute vehicle allocation based on stock age to new orders to support our dealer network and fleet customers, including some of the most well-known UK business brands.Liaise with colleagues in Retail Sales and Fleet Sales to instruct cars to be prepared for delivery to our dealer partners and direct sales partners efficiently in advance of dispatch.Match and monitor vehicle orders to stock to ensure we supply the required vehicles.Request vehicle delivery nationwide with our UK supplier partners.Ensure retailer partners enjoy best-in-class service from BYD.Request our finance team to raise and issue invoices to fleet customers and retailer partners.Assist with process and IT system development requirements, ensuring timely completion of related tasks within the IT system.Generate weekly reports for the Head of Operations.Work closely with all other BYD departments to ensure class-leading service levels at all times.Ad-hoc tasks arranged by the line manager.What are we looking for?2+ years of experience in vehicle order-to-delivery, whether within a dealer group, fleet/rental, or OEM background.Ability to handle and process/understand data, forecast, and plan.Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Excel).Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.Enjoys working as part of a team and making a positive impact.Highly organized and capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently.An automotive background, such as a national sales company or a large dealer group, is a bonus.Only applications from people eligible to work in the UK will be accepted.Office-based role (5 days a week) in BYD\'s new state-of-the-art and modern offices in Uxbridge, Middlesex, West of London.
