Consumer Relations Specialist - Neuro or Cardiometabolic PE Global is currently recruiting for a Consumer Engagement Strategist (Neuroscience or Cardio Metabolic Health area) for a leading multi-national Pharma client based in Basingstoke. This is an initial 12‑month contract position, working hybrid: 2 days from home and 3 days in the office. Pay rate between £29.68 and £39.57 per hour, depending on experience. Roles available in two therapeutic areas: Cardio Metabolic Health (Obesity & T2D) and Neuroscience (Alzheimer’s and Dementia). ***Please note our client cannot assist with any visa sponsorship and candidates must have the correct visa to live and work in the UK*** Responsibilities Build understanding of the consumer within the cardio metabolic health or neuroscience area through segmentation, personas, detailed consumer journeys and clear ecosystem. Develop the strategy for consumer engagement plans for the next five years for the obesity or neuroscience area. Own the planning, execution and optimisation of consumer campaigns across the chosen most relevant channels. Work closely with the media agency on the plan. Work closely with the creative agency, overseeing creative development for assigned campaigns by localising global content and building relevant local content that delivers significant amplification & impact. Coordinate with legal and regulatory to ensure all content is compliant. Coordinate with BI&A, but ultimately responsible for measurement, monitoring and optimisation of consumer campaigns to ensure continuous improvement. Collaborate with internal cross‑functional teams (Marketing, Market research, Digital, Sales, Medical Affairs, Legal) and external partners (Agency, Vendors) to drive capability, clarity, communication and alignment on the consumer campaigns. Qualifications Proven experience of over 10 years in consumer marketing. Excellent leadership and team‑management skills, with a track record of building and motivating high‑performing teams. In‑depth knowledge of consumer data, insights & planning techniques and tools. Experience working with media, creative & research agencies. High proficiency in data analysis and interpretation, with the ability to derive actionable insights from marketing analytics. Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams and communicate complex ideas clearly and persuasively. Strong project‑management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
