Applications are invited for doctors with suitable experience to work as full‑time Pre Transplant BMT Clinical Fellows in King's College Hospital Foundation Trust's Bone Marrow Transplantation programme. We are looking to appoint two positions within the medical coordination team. Clinical fellows who are successful in obtaining a position will be given full educational opportunities and the chance to rotate through other posts in transplantation and cellular therapy. Future research opportunities will be encouraged depending on the aspirations of the successful candidates, and a significant expansion in CAR‑T work will allow the post‑holder to gain additional valuable experience in this area. This JACIE accredited service is led by a Transplant Director and staffed by a team of consultants and clinical nurse specialists. The post‑holder will be working in a well‑established team of nursing transplant coordinators, two post‑BMT Nurse Consultants and CNS, and dedicated administrative support. In addition, research and visiting fellows in the BMT programme participate in clinics and follow‑up of transplant patients. There is a dedicated transplant clinic once a week, a regular schedule for day‑unit reviews and a weekly nurse‑led specialist late‑effects clinic. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of the transplant director and the BMT Consultant team. The post‑holder will gain broad experience in all aspects of white‑cell haematology with a specific focus on the management of pre‑BMT patients and those being evaluated for novel cellular therapies (CAR‑T). This role may be suitable for non‑UK or non‑EEA job applicants wishing to apply for Home Office Tier 2 sponsorship. King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, part of King's Health Partners Academic Health Sciences Centre (AHSC), is one of the UK's largest and busiest teaching hospitals with a turnover of nearly £1 billion, 1.5 million patient contacts a year and more than 12 600 staff based across five main sites in South East London and Kent. The Trust provides a full range of local hospital services across its different sites, and specialist services from King's College Hospital (KCH) site in Camberwell, the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) site in Bromley, Orpington Hospital, and some services at Beckenham Beacon and Queen Mary's Sidcup. The Trust is recognised internationally for its work in liver disease and transplantation, neurosciences, cardiac, haemato‑oncology, fetal medicine, stroke, major trauma and Emergency Department. Nationally the transplant team at King's provides one of the largest services for adult stem cell transplantation, including both autologous and allogeneic transplantation for a range of haematological malignancies with a specialist interest in myeloid disorders and bone marrow failure syndromes. In addition to the Clinical BMT programme, we provide donor evaluation and collection services for Anthony Nolan Bone Marrow Trust as one of their collection facilities. #J-18808-Ljbffr
