The Role We are seeking Lecturers to teach across a range of undergraduate levels as part of our BA (Hons) Accounting & Finance programme. Flexibility to teach during weekdays, evenings and weekends is required due to our delivery model. What You’ll Be Doing As a Lecturer in Accounting & Finance you will deliver management‑related modules, develop and deliver comprehensive course materials, undertake all aspects of learning, teaching and assessment of students, and keep up to date with the latest developments in your field and student support practices. Responsibilities All aspects of planning, delivering, and assessing student work, ensuring that all learning outcomes are met Developing, updating, and improving course materials as appropriate Using a variety of learning and teaching methods/materials Actively engaging in staff development activities, peer observations, meetings and other administrative duties Keeping up to date with latest developments in your field and student support practices Working toward clearly defined objectives for student attendance, continuation, completion, satisfaction and progression About You Hold a Master’s degree in a relevant subject area (PhD desirable) Previous UK HE lecturing experience in the wider subject area Extensive knowledge of relevant subject matter Experience supervising student work and providing support and feedback Accurate reporting and ability to maintain thorough and organised student records Ability to work under pressure and prioritise own workload to meet tight deadlines Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills Ability to work with diverse groups of people Desirable Postgraduate Certificate of Academic Practice or equivalent teaching qualification (or commitment to enrol on a teaching programme within three years) or Fellowship of HEA (or international equivalent) Experience of designing/developing academic or professional education programmes or equivalent #J-18808-Ljbffr
