This full‑time role supports the Security Controller by delivering a broad range of security services and providing a high level of support to programs and business. Responsibilities Help implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government and company standards, and develop and deliver security education and awareness programs for staff. Manage security clearances (like BPSS and NSV) for new and existing employees and contractors. Oversee physical security measures such as access control, CCTV systems, and key management. Investigate security breaches, report criminal activity, and work with relevant authorities on incident containment and resolution. Conduct internal audits, check supplier compliance, and ensure all security practices align with regulations and contractual requirements. Act as a point of contact between the company and government agencies, customers, and internal stakeholders on security matters. Essential Experience Must be able to attain DV clearance. Practical and working knowledge of GovS007 and relevant aspects of JSP 440. Possess well‑developed IT skills. Practical and working knowledge of GDPR. Strong collaborator with evidence of interfacing and building trust across all levels. Qualifications Qualified to degree level or equivalent in a related subject, or relevant industry experience to security. Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK national who is able to achieve and maintain Developed Vetting (DV) security clearance for this role. However, you will be eligible to start on Standard (BPSS) but will need to obtain Developed Vetting (DV) once in post.
