Higher Level Teaching Assistant Location: Newham, E16Contract: Long-term/PermanentDay Rate: 105- 125Start Date: ASAPCommutable From: Hackney, Barking, Lewisham, Redbridge, Tower Hamlets The Opportunity: Long Term Futures are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support a vibrant primary school in Newham. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable practitioner who enjoys leading learning, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2, and contributing to whole-school success. Your Key Responsibilities: Lead whole-class and small-group sessions across EYFS-KS2. Work closely with teachers to support planning, assessment, and classroom delivery. Provide targeted interventions to help pupils meet learning milestones.Model positive behaviour and support pupil wellbeing. Assist with creating engaging learning resources and maintaining a purposeful classroom environment. Requirements: HLTA qualification or significant primary school experience. Strong understanding of the primary curriculum. Confidence delivering learning independently. Excellent communication skills, initiative, and a warm, supportive approach. Why Long Term Futures?
