Whilst based predominantly with the Surgical Retina team this post offers excellent opportunities in all aspects of Ophthalmology. The department delivers a wide range of Ophthalmology services and provides an active teaching programme. The successful candidate will be expected to work to help achieve the aims of the department and is therefore expected to be experienced in all aspects of General Ophthalmology.Full registration with a licence to practise with the GMC is required. (licence to practise must be in place prior to starting in post). For more information visitApplicants shall have completed at least four years’ full-time postgraduate training (or its equivalent gained on a less than full-time or flexible basis) at least two of which will be in a specialty training programme or specialty registrar locum appointment for training (LAT); or shall have equivalent training, experience or competencies, either in the UK or overseas.
