Consultant ENT Surgeon – Subspecialty in Paediatric ENT and/or Paediatric Otology Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust invites applications for a fixed‑term Consultant ENT Surgeon (fixed‑term until July 2026, with the possibility of becoming substantive). The role is part of our highly regarded ENT department. Key responsibilities Provide high quality patient care as the consultant in charge. Ensure proper functioning of the ENT department. Carry out administrative duties related to clinic operation and departmental duties. Manage junior medical staff: approve and monitor rotas and locum arrangements. Participate fully in medical audit arrangements. Support the professional development of trainees and allied health professional colleagues. Contribute to teaching and assessment of undergraduate and junior doctors. Continuously develop professionally for successful appraisal and revalidation. Other information Provisional job plan is equivalent to 10 programmed activities (PAs). The schedule is subject to annual review and may be adjusted according to theatre re‑configuration. The post may progress to a substantive role contingent on Trust approval. Homerton University Hospital is an outstanding‑rated facility with 500 beds, 11 wards, an ICU, maternity, paediatric and neonatal wards, and nine operating theatres (including ENT and maxillo‑facial surgery).
