Teaching Assistant with The Anstee Bridge Programme is a creative, alternative provision and outreach service set up within Educational Services to support year 7-11 students, to facilitate better engagement with school. Students who attend Anstee Bridge have social, emotional and mental health [SEMH] challenges and often lack self-confidence and resilience. Anstee builds their confidence and helps them acquire skills through engaging in creative workshops. We are looking to appoint a fixed term, term time, Teaching Assistant with administrative responsibilities to join our Anstee Bridge Provision. Please note the full time salary figures will be pro rata for this part time, term time role. You will be responsible for providing administrative support for the Head of Service, Katherine Greening. The hours for this post are 28.8 hours per week : Monday to Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm (we will also consider 9am - 5pm). The current working locations for this post are as follows; Guildhall (Kingston) - Tuesdays and Thursdays The Light House (Teddington) - Monday and Wednesdays Appointment type Fixed Term Length of contract 12 months Business area Education Full time/Part time Part-time Salary from £29,856 (SCP06) Salary to £31,158 (SCP09) Hours 28.8 Estimated Interview date/s TBC Closing Date 02/01/2026 Ref No 2190 About the role You will support the Head of Service to assist in education and social / emotional development of students. The successful candidate will assist with the planning, implementation and evaluation of group and individualised programmes of learning experience for the students. Key responsibilities Monitoring attendance - liaising with schools and parents where necessary Supporting with the organisation of trips - including obtaining permission from parents To assist in the daily delivery of education work programmes Updating CPOMs as appropriate Collating and setting up resources for student learning Updating wall displays and keeping rooms clean and tidy Contributing to data and impact reports For further information about this role, please contact Katherine Greening by email : for an informal discussion. About you The role is fast paced and you will be required to work with a variety of customers in and outside of Achieving for Children. The ideal candidate would need to have the following attributes. Strong organisational abilities including: time management, creative-thinking, problem-solving and multitasking. Works well under pressure and is flexible with their approach to carrying out tasks. Able to make good use of technology to perform functions and ensure work is timely and accurate. Strong administrative skills such as data entry, email management, managing competing priorities, being organised and working well in a team. Able to use a range of digital hardware or software to support your work effectively i.e. Google.
