Project Manager role at Balfour Beatty Living Places Location: SouthamptonContract Type: Permanent#LP What you'll be doing Lead and manage project teams to deliver on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Maintain safety and sustainability targets throughout project delivery. Manage customer relationships, including change management and decision-making. Ensure compliance with company and divisional procedures, including Business Management Systems and project governance. Oversee external consultants (e.g., design) to drive value and achieve project objectives. Address post‑completion issues to maintain positive customer relationships and encourage repeat business. Maintain effective project records and robust reporting to senior management. Drive operational excellence and efficiency, utilising BIM where appropriate. Essential Demonstrable experience in project management within the relevant industry. Proven ability to deliver complex projects ahead of schedule, under budget, and with zero defects. Experience working on multi‑stakeholder projects in highly political environments. Experience working with public sector organisations. Desirable Relevant professional qualification (e.g., APMP) and technical qualification. Experience with Lean Construction principles and Lean practitioner training.
