Project Manager - Southampton - £50000 - £60000

Our client is looking for seasoned Project Manager to join their growing team.The purpose of this role is to act as project manager for projects falling within the group change programme across multiple business areas and jurisdictions. The role is responsiblefor the delivery of change including effective co-ordination of projects, management of their interdependences together with oversight of any risks and issues arising.

Your Abilities
- Project manager of specific change projects as required
- Formulate, organise and manage projects across multiple jurisdictions
- Participate in the Group's annual business planning, and project prioritisation activity
- Coordinate project activities and resource, assessing initial and ongoing resource
- requirements
- Manage the activities and development of business analyst support staff
- Develop and control project deadlines and milestones
- Agree programme governance structure and implement reporting structure and
- cycles
- Conduct regular risk assessments of project and change activities
- Agree and manage project budgets
- Co-ordinate activities and project deliverables
- Support the firm in identifying project risks and mitigating actions, managing project
- risks
- Assisting the firm to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits
- Ensure project resource is managed and supported
- Manage project suppliers and their output
- Assess project performance to maximize 'Return on Investment'
- Prepare reports for relevant committees, boards and the Executive Board
- Help inform and assist with the ongoing Group change strategy
- Provide guidance and coaching to internal staff including business analysts
- Enhance and develop project financial control models

Experience
- At least 3 years' experience as a project manager or equivalent
- Proven understanding of project management techniques and methods
- Through understanding of legal sector and/or financial services and experience of
- delivering change, including regulatory and compliance change, within those sectors
- Experience of delivering Legal Technology solutions
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office
- Excellent knowledge of project management software
- Excellent leadership and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Strong analytical skills, and financial / budgetary control experience
- Excellent stakeholder management & experience of negotiating at Board level

Qualification
- Prince 2 qualified or equivalent
