Oriel Science - Operations Manager Join to apply for the Oriel Science - Operations Manager role at Swansea Council for Voluntary Service (SwanseaCVS) Oriel Science is an educational charity that engages the public with STEAMM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Maths, and Medicine). They craft research and innovation from universities and other organisations into compelling, visceral exhibits and activities, and put these in places people go. Their mission is to use the “wow” factor of this research to inspire and enhance the Future Generations’ educational and career journeys, address under‑representations, and enrich the general public’s affinity with science and research. About The Role Salary: £26,038 (negotiable) Hours: 35 hours per week Location: Mixture of working‑from‑home and at Oriel Science Contract: 6 months initially (continuation expected but dependent on funding) Oversee the operations of the Oriel Science venue, both in public and school workshop mode. Liaise with schools, roster staff, and communicate with exhibitors. Work with other members of the Management Team and Trustees.
