About The Team RPS Water Consulting is a team of Engineers, Modellers, and Data Analysts that provide Asset Management and Operational Strategy development to our Water Industry clients, supporting business planning and delivery. Our evolving industry presents challenges and opportunities that require innovation, dedication, and teamwork to help us meet our clients’ needs. About You As a key member of our business, you will play a critical role in delivering great projects for our Water Industry clients. Working alongside a multidisciplinary team of experts, you will contribute to a broad range of capital delivery projects and have a meaningful impact on millions of lives across the UK. Your Responsibilities Manage a project through its entire lifecycle from inception to handover and closure, utilising the four pillars of project management: PLAN, ORGANISE, LEAD & CONTROL. Meet all responsibilities as outlined in the RPS HSE policy and management systems. Apply specialist expertise and ensure compliance with RPS’s systems and processes. Manage projects in accordance with RPS systems and processes, proactively delivering projects within budget and timeframe. Collaborate with the Programming and Logistics departments to ensure project requirements are fulfilled. Proficiently use NEC4 contracts, including submission and control of compensation events. Maintain financial and contractual control, protecting the company’s interests. Maintain accurate financial control systems and report monthly on Cost/Value Reconciliation. Ensure all estimating is accurately compiled as part of the project proposal stage. Skills, Knowledge, And Experience Proficiency in the use of systems, tools, processes, and programmes necessary to manage projects. Ability to identify project risks and manage them as required. Capability to manage business relationships positively, including negotiation and resolution of contentious issues. Demonstrated ability to understand, interpret and respond to management, operational and financial information and trends at a project level. Full UK driver’s licence. Qualifications Degree qualified in a relevant field. Minimum three years’ experience in a similar role is desirable. Why RPS?
