The Delegate Director will report directly to the CEO and serve as a core member of Deliver’s Management Committee. This role leads the global delegate acquisition function, ensuring the quality and growth of VIP retailer participation across Deliver’s flagship events in Europe, US, Asia and Middle East. The Delegate Director will balance strategic leadership, team management, and direct engagement with retailers and sponsors to secure best‑in‑class attendance, enhance ROI for partners, and reinforce Deliver’s positioning as the global leader in one‑to‑one meetings. Reporting Lines Reports to: Chief Executive Officer Direct reports: International team of Delegate Acquisition Managers (12 FTE, Company’s largest team) Key Responsibilities Strategic & Commercial Leadership Define and implement global strategies to grow VIP delegate participation. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing Directors to ensure delegate initiatives directly support sponsor objectives and event success. Anticipate market trends and integrate innovative tools (AI, automation, data insights) to enhance reach and engagement. Oversee delegate–sponsor matchmaking and support ROI conversion post‑event. Team Leadership & Performance Build, lead, and motivate a high‑performing international delegate acquisition team. Set clear objectives and KPIs (quality and quantity of delegates, alignment with sponsor needs). Provide coaching, feedback, and development opportunities, while addressing underperformance rigorously. Operational Excellence Ensure flawless execution of delegate acquisition processes, from lead generation to post‑event follow‑up. Supervise onsite delivery and delegate management during Deliver’s global events. Manage budgets and resources effectively. Required Experience & Qualifications Minimum 8 years’ experience in delegate sales, executive search or B2B sales, with exposure to C‑level stakeholders. Proven success in leading international teams in a high‑performance environment, ideally remote‑first. Strong commercial acumen with experience collaborating across Sales, Marketing, and Operations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with cultural fluency. Master’s degree in Business, Marketing or related field (MBA preferred). Fluency in English. High emotional intelligence, cultural awareness, and ability to build trust with C‑level stakeholders. Strong analytical and data‑driven decision‑making skills. Entrepreneurial mindset with high energy and resilience. Success Measures Growth and quality of VIP delegate participation across global events. Delegate satisfaction and sponsor ROI conversion rates. Achievement of team KPIs and performance metrics. Adoption of innovative tools and processes for acquisition efficiency. Location & Contract Type Remote (UK preferred) Full-time Executive Position Package & Other Benefits Base Salary: £65,000–£80,000 per annum (gross) / €75,000–€90,000 equivalent, depending on successful track record and seniority Performance Bonus: Up to 30% of base salary, linked to objectives Fully remote work 8 weeks of annual leave including national public holidays Professional development support and ongoing training Expanding and profitable global business that will become the global leader in the events segment of one‑to‑one meetings.
