Delegated Authority Audit Manager If you are looking for a new challenge and to work with a fast growing Insurance business, this is a fantastic opportunity to join this audit department in a welcoming and collaborative environment. Role overview: - To coordinate the audit of Delegated Claims Administrators ("DCA's") and Coverholders, principally in the US, Canada, Australia, the UK and Europe, across multi class lines (including but not limited to Property, Casualty, PI/D&O, Warranty, Motor) - To carry out selected DCA/Coverholder Audits in person - To work with the Associate Director DA & the Delegated Claims Manager to ensure that DCA and coverholder performance is fully recognised in the audit programme - To facilitate audits to be carried out by internal and external parties - To ensure the actions arising from audits are completed - To participate where required in new acquisitions and due diligence including the transition of new client/data into the department structure - To report audit activity and matters arising to Senior Management and the Delegated Oversight Committee - To maintain Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) and Conduct Risk within the business - To have an awareness of Data Protection legislation, including the Data Protection Act and the General Data Protection Regulations Preferred experience required: - ACII or equivalent and around 3-5 years delegated experience, including delegation at Lloyd's - Around 3 years DCA audit experience or significant experience in technical claims auditing - Broad technical claims knowledge or demonstrable skills in particular line(s) of claims - Knowledge of procurement and contracting - Ability to work individually and as part of a wider team - Ability to interpret key data and report key messages upwards when faced with numerous and complex datasets or from within a high-pressure environment Knowledge required: - Understanding of Lloyd's delegated authority working practices / minimum standards - Knowledge of claims handling practices - Knowledge of compliance - Knowledge of Key Outsourcing Contract Terms Hybrid working policy - 3 days in office
