Director – Restructuring and Special Situations (French Speaker) PJT Partners is a global advisory-focused investment bank offering strategic advisory, shareholder advisory, restructuring and special situations services to corporations, financial sponsors, institutional investors and governments worldwide. Responsibilities The Restructuring and Special Situations Group advises large companies, governments and creditor groups in financially distressed situations. Directors oversee a range of strategic advisory services including recapitalizations, reorganizations, corporate valuations, exchange offers, distressed M&A, and capital raising. Lead origination and execution of restructuring transactions across the platform. Engage with clients and investors at senior level. Develop detailed business plans and strategies for restructuring transactions. Evaluate financial returns for current and potential investors. Attend key client negotiation and strategy sessions. Manage complex, time-sensitive restructuring transactions from start to finish. Participate in client meetings, negotiate contracts, and conduct due diligence. Qualifications At least 9 years of experience in leveraged & credit or restructuring. Fluency in English and French. Strong qualitative and analytical skills. Ability to run client meetings and coordinate deal execution. Excellent written and presentation skills. Team-oriented mindset, able to work under tight deadlines. Strong knowledge of accounting and finance. Ability to mentor and train junior bankers. Personal and professional integrity. Application Resume/CV must be submitted in PDF format.
