We’re looking for a proactive Shift Manager to join our Production team at our AMK Peterborough site, working a 4 on 4 off day‑shift pattern. This role is ideal for someone with experience in a production environment who has already taken on leadership responsibilities and is looking to grow into their management career journey. If you're people‑focused, eager to learn, and motivated to progress, this is an excellent opportunity to advance your career. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a production area during day shifts, helping your team work safely, efficiently, and to target. Maintain strong standards of Health & Safety, hygiene, and compliance across your area. Monitor raw material usage to improve yield and minimise waste. Use production data to understand performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Report and elevate maintenance or repair needs to ensure equipment and facilities remain in good working order. Contribute to team development through coaching, training, and day‑to‑day performance support. Ensure accurate product and packaging traceability in line with technical and regulatory standards. About You Experience Experience of managing a team in a production environment, ideally within the food sector. Experience of managing staff including HR requirements, recruitment, performance management and appraisals. Experience working to budgets with accountability for labour costs.
