The role involves managing an acute caseload, which includes medical, surgical, and potentially medical HDU or gastro patients.What your responsibilities will be for this Dietetics role?As a Band 6 Locum Dietitian, you will provide expert dietary assessment and intervention for patients within an acute setting, including medical, surgical, and potentially high-dependency units. Your responsibilities will include conducting detailed nutritional assessments, devising and implementing personalised dietary plans, and monitoring patient progress to ensure effective outcomes. You will work closely with the multidisciplinary team to integrate dietary management into overall patient care plans and ensure that nutritional needs are met. Effective communication with patients and their families is essential to provide education and support regarding dietary modifications.
