Support Worker Wirral £85-£95 per day depending on experience About the role: Connex Education are working with several SEND Schools on the Wirral who are seeking several support workers who are interested in working as a SEND Teaching Assistant. About the School: The Schools we work with cater for pupils aged between 2-19 years with complex needs including Autism, ADHD, SLD, SEMH and PMLD. We work with many Schools in Wirral who are looking for Support workers who are interested in working in Education. As a support worker you will have many transferrable skills and at Connex we will provide you with CPD to help transition into Education. You will be expected to support pupils emotionally, socially and academically as well as promoting life skills and promoting independence. You may be required to assist with personal care. Assignment details: We have full-time long term roles available as well as day to day bookings to cover sicknesses. The working days are Monday‑Friday usually 8.30am‑3.30pm. Be willing to provide personal care. Confident in dealing with challenging behaviour, able to remain calm and work in line with the behaviour plan of each individual pupil. The ability to build relationships with staff and pupils, whilst maintaining professional boundaries. Able to provide a DBS on the update service or be willing to apply for a new one.
