Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship – Little Scallywags Shard End We are currently seeking a hardworking and enthusiastic individual to join our team who is also passionate about early years. As an Early Years Apprentice, you will focus on high quality affordable childcare for children from 9 months to 5 years of age. Key Details Salary: £7.55 per hour (£15,704 yearly) Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:00am – 17:30pm (40 hours per week) Location: 72 Longmeadow Crescent, Birmingham, B34 7NL Apprenticeship duration: 19 months to complete, working towards an Early Years Educator Level 3 Apprenticeship. All learning is delivered online / remote. Training provider: LMP Education (rated 1st best UK training provider) Responsibilities Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children in the nursery. Plan and implement age‑appropriate activities to stimulate children's development. Monitor and observe children to ensure their well‑being and safety. Collaborate with other nursery staff to create a positive learning environment. Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development. Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's daily activities and progress. Desired Skills & Personal Qualities Enthusiastic about making a difference. Good interpersonal communication and teamwork skills. Reliable, committed, and punctual. Passion for supporting children with their learning and development. Desired Qualifications DBS completed once successful. Must have a childcare level 2 qualification.
