GRADUATE OPERATIONS

GRADUATE OPERATIONS & STRATEGY EXECUTIVE Breaking into the competitive world of business management, security, or operations can be difficult without practical experience. We want to help bridge that gap. King Cobra Security (KCS) is a specialized security consultancy based in Cardiff. We are a small, highly efficient, and close-knit team. Because we are a compact unit, you won’t be lost in a sea of cubicles or hidden behind middle management. Instead, you will be welcomed into the fold, working side‑by‑side with our Directors and playing a genuine role in our daily success. We are looking for an ambitious, bright graduate to join us for a 3‑month executive placement. This is a unique opportunity to see exactly how a business runs from the inside out, in a supportive environment where your questions are encouraged and your development is our priority. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR We are excited to hear from graduates of any discipline. Whether you studied Law, History, Business, or the Arts, we value your perspective. We are looking for: Potential: You have a sharp mind and a willingness to learn. Organization: You enjoy bringing order to chaos and managing details. Communication: You are confident writing professional emails and speaking with a wide variety of people. Curiosity: You want to understand why and how things work, not just follow instructions. YOUR ROLE: AT THE HEART OF OUR OPERATIONS For 12 weeks, you will act as a central pillar of support for our team. You will gain a “360‑degree” view of the company: The First Point of Contact: You will manage incoming communications (calls and emails), learning how to triage information and interact with clients professionally. Information Management: You will help us compile and audit critical documentation, meeting notes, and compliance files—essential skills for any future management role. Operational Experience: You will have the chance to step in as a proxy for different departments—assisting with Account Management, Customer Service, or Operations. We believe the best way to learn is by doing, with our full support behind you. R&D Shadowing (Optional): If you are interested, you can shadow our Research & Development division to see how we build our security technologies and protocols. OUR INVESTMENT IN YOU We know that your time is valuable. This is a voluntary, unpaid placement, but we view it as a partnership. We want to make sure you leave us with significantly more than you arrived with. In exchange for your dedication 5 days a week, we offer: Professional Certifications: We will pay for relevant industry certifications to boost your CV (e.g., Project Management, Health & Safety). SIA Licensing: If you are interested in the operational side of security, we will fund your SIA Door Supervisor training and license. mentorship: You will receive one‑on‑one mentorship from Senior Management. Future Opportunities: We are always looking for talent. Upon successful completion of the placement, you are guaranteed an interview for a full‑time, salaried management role with us. IMPORTANT: SECURITY & CONFIDENTIALITY Because we work in the security sector with sensitive client data, trust is everything. Comprehensive NDA: You will be required to sign a strict Non‑Disclosure Agreement (NDA) covering all KCS company matters, client details, and internal operations. Please be aware that this is a legally binding document with significant financial consequences for any breaches. R&D Non‑Compete (Optional): If you choose to shadow the R&D division to learn our trade secrets, you will need to sign a 2‑Year Non‑Compete Agreement specific to the Security Industry. If you decide not to shadow R&D, this specific non‑compete will not apply to you. WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU We are not interested in generic cover letters. We want to know how you think. To apply, please send us your CV and a separate document with your answer to the following question (there is no word limit—take as much space as you need): The Question: What are some security risks you have (or have had) in your life? What was the “security” response? Think of “security” as an abstract concept—this could be a private response, a public sector response, or a procedural one. If the response was not satisfactory, what would you have liked to see? #J-18808-Ljbffr
