Job Title Head of Operations – Mitie Cleaning & Hygiene Services Job Overview We are looking for an enthusiastic Head of Operations for our Facilities Soft Service Contract. The role involves managing client relationships, auditing performance, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs), Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and Health & Safety regulations. You will oversee employee payroll, training, and delivery of excellent service across multiple client contract sites. Main Duties Build and maintain client relationships. Oversee and conduct audit inspections when required. Ensure all required training is carried out and kept up to date. Manage compliance with HR, QHSE, recruitment, and Mitie & Trust policies. Provide flexible working hours to meet client needs effectively. Qualifications & Skills Extensive experience managing soft services, cleaning, portering, and catering within an NHS healthcare setting. Strong understanding of current NHS national cleanliness standards. Excellent customer service, communication, and IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office. Cleaning qualification desirable. Flexible, organized, and possessing excellent time‑management skills. Full UK clean driving licence (travel between multiple sites required).
