As a senior private client lawyer in the South Manchester office, you'll work closely with the wider team to target and service clients in the Manchester and Cheshire market. This is a growth role, meaning you’ll have the freedom to shape your caseload and the team around you, and help free up the Head of Department to focus on wider strategy. Who we’re looking for 8+ PQE Private Client SolicitorSTEP qualifiedStrong experience with high‑net‑worth clients and complex tax planning structuresManchester/Cheshire connections or modest followingEstate planning specialist who can handle work independently and advise more junior team membersConfident, proactive, and commercially aware What you’ll be doing Conducting and overseeing high‑end estate planning matters, including trusts, IHT, CGT, and succession planningSupporting the wider growth of the private client team across the North WestWorking closely with colleagues to shape strategy and contribute to business developmentMaintaining strong client relationships and supporting the firm’s reputation for quality and service Salary & Benefits Competitive salary, dependent on experienceBonus scheme25 days’ holiday plus bank holidaysPension schemeHealthcare cash planLife assurance3–4 days WFH and flexible hoursOpportunity to become part of an employee‑owned firm You’ll be joining a firm that prioritises quality over volume.
