You will own our ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O) and have responsibility for both the optimization of the solution, integration with other key Focus systems and support the roll-out to new acquisitions.What we’re looking forThe right person for this role is someone who will manage the optimization and continual development of our finance system across our group. You will join a team that values your input and empowers you to deliverWhat will you do?As our Finance Systems Manager you will own the Dynamics F&O system both in terms of the technical solution but also the strategy for the continual development and optimization as Focus Group continues its growth journey. Some of the key responsibilities of the role are detailed below:ERP Management & ProjectsLead ERP enhancement projects from requirements gathering through go-liveConfigure system modules, user permissions, and approval workflowsPlan and coordinate release cycles for system upgrades, patches, and new feature rolloutsCreate and update system documentation, user guides, and standard operating proceduresSystem Migrations & OptimizationPlan and execute migrations between finance platforms when requiredStreamline existing processes by eliminating redundancies and improving system efficiencyImplement new finance tools and applications that support business growthMonitor system performance and resolve technical issues impacting financial operationsMaintain data integrity across all finance systems and platformsOperational SupportProvide technical support to finance team members on system-related questionsTrain new users on ERP functionality and best practicesCollaborate with external vendors and consultants on system implementationsManage system access controls and security protocolsSupport month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes through system optimizationAcquisition IntegrationExecute finance system integrations for new acquisitions within defined timelinesMigrate financial data from target company systems into our core ERP platformConfigure chart of accounts, reporting structures, and workflows for newly acquired entitiesCoordinate with IT and business teams to ensure clean data transfer and system connectivityTroubleshoot integration issues and implement workarounds to maintain business continuityWhat you’ll need5+ years hands-on experience with ERP systems (Dynamics, NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar)Proven track record managing system integrations in M&A environmentsStrong technical skills in data migration, system configuration, and process automationExperience with SQL, data analysis tools, and financial reporting platformsAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects with competing deadlinesNice to haveAccounting qualification: ACA, ACCA, CIMA or relevant experienceSystems migration experienceWhy join Focus Group?At Focus Group we’re passionate about challenging and improving ourselves.
