Key Responsibilities Manage a diverse caseload including divorce, private children matters, non-molestation orders and financial relief cases Handle files independently, including taking over ongoing cases Attend court for directions hearings, first appointments and FDRs Draft legal documentation and communicate effectively with clients and third parties Ensure full compliance with regulatory and statutory obligations, including Legal Aid Agency (LAA) rules and the Solicitors Act Provide support and supervision to junior colleagues, including file reviews Person Specification Qualified Family Solicitor with a minimum of 5 PQE (or equivalent) Experience handling a broad range of family law matters including children, divorce, financial disputes and domestic abuse Familiarity with TOLATA cases is beneficial Excellent client care skills and strong drafting abilities Confident in legal aid procedures and billing requirements Able to supervise other fee earners and meet LAA supervisor criteria Commercial awareness and ability to generate new business is desirable What’s on Offer?
