Teaching Assistant – Redhill Academy Trust Join Redhill Academy Trust as a Teaching Assistant in the South Nottinghamshire Academy. The role supports classroom teaching under the general direction of the Headteacher and works within a multidisciplinary team. Salary: £21,924 – £23,739 per annum (full‑time equivalent: £26,141 – £28,305) Working hours: 32.25 hours per week – 08:15–15:00 Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays; 08:15–16:00 Wednesdays – fixed‑term, term‑time only. Start date: As soon as possible. Key responsibilities Assist teachers in delivering lessons and managing classroom activities. Support individual and group work, including those with special educational needs. Collaborate with teachers to plan and implement the agreed educational plan. Maintain classroom discipline and contribute to the overall policy of the educational programme. Use information and communication technology effectively in teaching and assessment. Qualifications & experience Experience working with young people and a demonstrated ability to support learning. A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies. Evidence of good communication skills and teamwork. For unqualified applicants, relevant experience and skills will be considered.
