If you’re eager to grow your HR career and play a hands-on role in bringing our people strategy to life, this is your opportunityAs a HR Consultant at Arco, you will work in a hybrid fashion, with a mix of working from our head office in Hull, home-based working and site-based travel within the UK when required.Key ResponsibilitiesSupporting our HR Business Partner in the implementation of HR projects and strategic initiatives, leading on specific activityDriving, advocating and actively participating in the Arco comms and engagement strategy for the relevant business area, ensuring the colleague voice is always representedManaging and delivering training and development sessions as required to upskill our people managers whilst coaching managers on HR Policy and processes ensuring best practice is followedDriving the successful utilisation of the HR Operating model in collaboration with our HR Service CentreAnalysing HR data, identifying trends & insights and making recommendations to deliver business performance whilst owning the people data for the relevant business areasCoaching managers to embed the performance management framework and enable a high performing cultureCollaborating with business leads to support change management activityOn top of working for the UK’s leading integrated health and safety experts, you’ll also receive:A starting salary between £32,000 to £36,000 plus bonus and a car allowance32 days holiday inclusive of bank holidays which rises with service, plus the option to purchase up to 5 more days each calendar year2 fully paid Community Volunteering days every yearAn excellent pension (up to 8% Arco contribution) and x4 Life Assurance schemeA huge range of discounts to help with cost of living via Perkbox plus Employee Discount on Arco productsFree, 24-hour access to our Employee Assistance ProgrammeHealth Cash Plan where we’ll reimburse up to 100% of everyday healthcare costsAccess to our Learning Management System, to support your personal and career developmentLong-term service awards; we’re proud to have employees who have worked for us for 40 yearsAbout YouThe Ideal HR Consultant Will Be/HaveA sound Employee Relations background, and be ideally CIPD qualified or have relevant demonstrable experienceExcellent Microsoft Office systems knowledge and skills including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and ExcelStrong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to communicate at all levels and be flexible in approachGood coaching skills and experience of delivering trainingComfortable working at pace and results focusedAn understanding of the change management cycleKnowledge of talent attractionThe ability to work with minimum supervisionAn understanding of people and commercial metricsAbout UsWith a 140-year legacy, Arco are recognised as the UK's leading safety experts.
