Our dedicated team are here to help young people through their challenges and provide them with the tools and guidance they need every single day.Developing positive relationships with the young people in our care, their families and external agenciesContributing to the young person’s care plans and any risk assessments, supporting with implementation and reviewsSupporting young people with daily activities, educational needs and emotional wellbeingEnsuring that good quality records are maintained as requiredPrevious experience is not a requirement for this role as we provide 3 weeks classroom training followed by 1 week of shadow shifts to ensure that you feel confident and well equipped to start your new role QualificationsWe welcome applications from people who have previous experience in a children’s residential setting or similar rolePeople who have the ability to interact with young people and manage challenging behaviours calmlyA full UK driving licenceYou must also be over 21 years of age to meet industry regulationsLevel 3 / 4 Diploma in Children’s & Young Peoples workforce would be great – although this is not essentialFlexibility to work shifts including weekends, evenings and sleep-in duties on a rota basis – our shifts are 7:30am – 11:00pm and sleep-ins 11:30pm – 7:30am (paid at £50 per sleep)BenefitsHealthcare cash scheme – receive cash back for medical appointments including dentistry, optical and wellbeing £50 per sleep in and overtime opportunities paid at enhanced rates210 hours annual leave per year and company pension schemeLong service awards up to £500Ofsted bonus payment up to £200Madiba will enroll & fully fund towards a level 4 diploma in Children & Young -People’s workforce qualificationComprehensive induction, ongoing training and the opportunity to grow and progress your careerRefer a friend scheme paid at £150 & another £350 after passing probationMonthly recognition awardsFree parking and casual dress codeFood available whilst on shift & access to our discretionary food bankCompany events*** We cannot currently support applications that require sponsorship visa’s ***All successful candidate offers will be subject to satisfactory references and enhanced DBS #J-18808-Ljbffr
