Overview Nursery Lead Location: Hockley, Birmingham B18 Pay: £160 - 230 per day (paid to scale) Working Hours/Days: 8:00 - 16:00, Monday to Friday (Term Time Only) Start Date: 05/01/2026 Contract: Long-Term, Temp to Perm Overview Are you a passionate and nurturing Nursery Teacher with EYTS or QTS? Do you have direct experience teaching in a nursery or Early Years setting? We are working with a welcoming primary school in Hockley that are looking for a confident practitioner to join their Early Years team and create a joyful, stimulating learning environment for their youngest learners. You\'ll be joining a well-resourced setting with a supportive leadership team who value creativity and a child-led approach. This is an exciting opportunity for a committed teacher who loves Early Years education and is looking to make a lasting impact. Responsibilities Leading a nursery class with planning, teaching, and assessment responsibilities Creating engaging, play-based learning opportunities tailored to the EYFS framework Supporting each child\'s individual development through observation and next steps Working closely with support staff, parents, and SLT to ensure strong outcomes Contributing to a caring and inclusive learning environment What We're Looking For A Level 6 qualification in an Early Years related subject (EYTS or QTS also considered) Previous experience as a Nursery or Early Years Teacher in the UK Excellent knowledge of the EYFS framework Confident classroom management and a nurturing approach Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset Why Work with Long Term Futures?
