We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Clinical Trial Monitor who shares our passion for advancing cancer prevention research to join The Cancer Research UK Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU) at Queen Mary University of London. As the BEST4 Clinical Trial Monitor, you will play a pivotal role in delivering monitoring activities across the BEST4 Screening Trial. The trial focuses on evaluating the effectiveness of the capsule sponge test for patients on heartburn medication within primary care mobile units. Working closely with our CPTU Compliance and BEST4 project teams, the role focuses to coordinate and carry out monitoring activities, spanning remote, central, and on‑site monitoring. You will be a detail‑oriented and motivated professional with: Previous monitoring experience in clinical trials, ideally including vendor monitoring Excellent verbal and written communication skills, especially in scientific writing and reporting Strong knowledge of ICH GCP principles and relevant legislation Willing to travel within the UK flexibly to accommodate the needs of the project The Wolfson Institute of Population Health (WIPH) is an exciting and dynamic environment, home to 450 staff, 100 PhD students and 500 postgraduate taught students. CCSPED also hosts the cross‑cutting Cancer Behavioural Science group and the CRUK‑funded Cancer Prevention Trials Unit (CPTU, Director, Sasieni).
